There was a lot of R&D put into the design of these boards. The guys at Loaded played (and continue to play) with almost every board and truck available and took courses in composite and material technologies, continuing on with our quest to build a lively board capable of skating bigger hills with enhanced control.

Trying to get the wood and fiberglass to conform to compound contours was an affront to physics and they got sick of hearing that it could not be done with curvatures as pronounced as they wanted. But done it was, and the first ride made it clear that it should be done.

Camping Hammocks

Hammocks are very convenient when setting up camp. While others are still clearing their tent site of roots and rocks, or trying to find a level spot, I can just tie it up and stake out my fly. It only takes a few moments to find two suitable trees, and no ground clearing is necessary. I have slept right over rock piles and on steep ridges before, and some campers have slept over a running stream to keep them cooler in the heat! It is the ultimate in Leave No Trace and stealth camping.
